B. K. Rajavel, MD and CEO hold a Master’s Degree in Commerce from Kamarajar University. Apart from successfully developing Malligha Asafoetida Company from a family-owned start-up to one of the top 3 regional professionally run asafoetida companies, he has dabbled profitably in various businesses including camphor manufacturing, sugar candy manufacturing, and papad manufacturing. He completed his 2 year entrepreneurial development program from MADE ( Michigan Academy for Developing Entrepreneurs) in 2019.
With his strong technical and practical knowledge in the development of multiple new products in asafoetida, he has ensured M.A.C.’s core focus remains on customers convenience and happiness. His focus on understanding the human mindset, complex problems, and living by values has played a critical role in accelerating M.A.C.’s CAGR (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) at more than 70% since 1996, thereby establishing one of the leading asafoetida, manufacturers of India, while deploying capital effectively and building a high-performance culture with a core thrust on employee relations while giving opportunities to latent talent within the organization.
K. Kamal Rajan is a Bachelor of Arts Graduate and heads the Kerala operations of M.A.C. With his dedicated expertise and skill in sales and marketing, he has created our solid network of institutional customers and merchant exporters in Kerala. He has assembled and trained a quality team delivering high-quality results with transparency and commitment in the region. He is a strong networker and holds prominence in Kerala across all our stakeholders.
M. Karuppusamy holds a Diploma in EEE from KLN Polytechnic affiliated to Kamaraj University, Madurai. With 12+ years of intensive experience across food manufacturing companies, he now heads operations at Malligha Asafoetida Company (M.A.C.), ensuring seamless processes strictly in-line with global food safety standards, adhering to SOPs at all levels to deliver consistent quality of asafoetida products.
His core interest other than enabling excellent quality and systems is handling all types of food production machines which optimize productivity, operator performance and on-time delivery at higher levels while earning our customers trust.
He naturally heads the 5S team in our organization and is moving towards Kaizen through the 4 quality circles of our company.
T. C. Senthil Kumar is a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the renowned Thiagarajar College of Arts and Science of Madurai Kamarajar University. With 7+ years of extensive experience in the field of quality analysis, inspection, and processes in food product manufacturing. He remains in-charge of all physical examination of raw materials and packing materials right from the entry-level to the stage of the finished product, thereby acting as our custodian of unfailing quality all around the year.
He has developed fine expertise in analyzing all samples of asafoetida with a custom-built precise and accurate approach for all our final product batches.
With an MBA from St. Joseph’s Institute of Management, Bharathidasan University, Trichy, Joice heads our international marketing.
His strong expertise in digital marketing, marketing research, strategic and business planning combined with his creative thinking and relationship building skills, add value to our company.
Muskan Keswani is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Renaissance College of Commerce & Management, Indore.
